1. 용도(End-user's Use)

Sensitive to the high-energy TEM, transmits a sample that is damaged by electron beam irradiation or has a risk of contamination by moisture and hydrous carbon(including organic matter) generated from inside the sample, cooled to a cryogenic temperature. It is a TEM holder that allows analysis with an TEM.

In addition, it should be able to transfer the sample from the glove box to the TEM without exposure to the atmosphere because it has an air isolation function to prevent sample deterioration due to oxygen or moisture in the air.

This equipment should be mounted on the pole piece of JEOL JEM-2100F (UHR), and since the crystal structure of the sample should be analyzed through double tilt function.

Using this equipment, secondary battery materials, especially solid electrolytes sensitive to electron beam damage, artificial graphite anode active materials, polymer materials, biomaterials, etc., should be optimized to observe samples that are easy to deteriorate and sensitive to electron beam damage.

3. 성능 및 규격(Performance and Specification)

1. Atmospheric isolation function

It must be possible to transport without exposure to the atmosphere by maintaining a vacuum or inert gas to provide atmospheric isolation

2. Cooling function

- Guarantee temperature : -160℃ (-165 ± 5℃)

** The Ultimate Temperature is a median value of –165℃, and the variation is ± 5℃ ,so the guaranteed value is -160℃

3. Double tilt function (JEOL TEM UHR Pole piece configuration)

- Max. X-tilt range : ±15°

- Max. Y-tilt range : ±7°

4. The holder has to be able to fit on JEOL UHR Pole piece configuration.

4. 설치, 교육, 보증 등(Installation, trial test, training, and warranty)

1. Test operation, training and installation should be provided by factory trained engineer

2. Warranty should be one year after installation & acceptance test.
